We could be serving agentic clients in five years. What does that mean for firms?

What value can firms and accountants offer when a client has more agents working for them than people? It sounds like a far-off reality, but it could happen sooner than we’d think.

The client of the future could be very different to what we're used to today. I’m talking about one person at the helm, making £1 billion in revenue.

It sounds impossible, but we could certainly get to a place where companies have more agents working for them than people. In this model, agents would perform the vast majority (if not all) of the legwork - even integrating and speaking to other agents in other organisations the way we email or Slack message today.
